Support
Nobody funds this. I do.
I run a marketing company called Social Spark, and the profit from it pays for all of this — the recording, the artwork, the distribution, the fourteen songs sitting on this site. There is no label and no advance, which I am glad about most days, because it means nobody gets to tell me the album should be one genre.
So when people ask how they can support the music, I find the honest answer slightly awkward: I would rather you got something out of it too. Everything below is a real exchange. None of it is a donation, and if none of it is useful to you then that is genuinely fine — the music is here either way.
Free
The cheapest thing on this page and not the least useful. Most of our work arrives because somebody passed a name on. If you know a business that needs marketing help, that sentence is worth more than it sounds.
Social SparkIf you run a business
This is the actual job, not a favour. Marketing, content and websites for small businesses. If you need that anyway, you may as well need it from someone whose album you have just been listening to.
What we doA tool we built
A workspace that files what you put into it and then argues with you — it questions a claim when your own records contradict it, rather than agreeing with everything. There is a free preview if you want to see what it makes of your site.
clearspace.thesocialspark.co.ukIf you liked this one
I built this site. If you want one, the studio shows you concepts for your business before you commit to building anything — so you can see it first and walk away if it is not right.
design.thesocialspark.co.ukAnd the one that costs nothing at all: listen to it, and tell one person if it does something for you. That is the part I actually can't buy. The songs are here.
